Alex Leben is a Partner at Corporate Value Associates, based in Auckland and servicing the Trans-Tasman market, with a strong focus on Primary Industries and the Agri-Food Transition platform. Since joining CVA in 2022, Alex has been a founding member in establishing and scaling the New Zealand practice, playing a central role in positioning CVA as a trusted advisor to some of the country’s largest and most complex organisations.

Alex graduated with a First Class Honours degree from the University of Auckland, majoring in Economics and Information Systems. Since joining CVA, he has worked across transformation, M&A and technology-enabled change. His work is characterised by translating strategic ambition into measurable, delivered outcomes, often in high-risk, time-critical environments.

Alex is recognised for his people-centric leadership style and his ability to lead complex programmes end-to-end, spanning strategy, commercial decision-making, operating model design and implementation.

His contribution reflects both the scale of what has been built to date in New Zealand and a clear ambition to continue growing CVA’s Primary Industries platform, while developing teams and long-term client partnerships that underpin the firm’s future success.
