Byung-il Lee is a Partner with CVA Seoul. He has a BSc in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Seoul National University. Byung-il started his career at Hyundai Heavy Industries in Korea, and after that, he has more than 15 years of professional experience as a management consultant, including experience in founding a local management consulting firm in Korea.

Byung-il has accumulated broad experience in Financial services, Auto-mobility, Retail and Consumer goods. And he has worked on various topics including corporate/business strategy, business portfolio, business model development, alliance strategy and channel strategy.

After joining CVA, Byung-il has focused on data/platform-related strategy and business model development projects such as open banking, membership platform and mobility service. Through these consulting projects, Byung-il has been contributing to the advancement of the convergence ecosystem by advising new business strategies for leading Korean conglomerates, financial firms and big mega tech in Korea for their domestic and global businesses.
