CVA was founded in 1987 with a unique proposition in management consulting - to help a select number of CEO's manage the "Value Flow" of their respective businesses and thereby realise maximum value for all stakeholders in both the long and short term.

Nearly 20 years down the track CVA has grown into a Global Strategy Boutique with a Broad Spectrum of Blue-Chip Clients serviced by around 300 consultants based out of 16 offices worldwide.

Our success has stemmed from a differentiated approach in what we do and how we do it.

Whilst other consulting firms view businesses as assets to maximise, we have a Customer Centric approach where the focus is on maximising value to the customer and minimising the assets needed to do it.

CVA Partners get their hands dirty and are an integral part of the consulting team on any assignment. Their hands-on approach and extensive front-line experience provides an invaluable foundation for delivering solutions to our clients, as well as providing consultants with the opportunity to work closely with the most senior people within the CVA network.

Providers of Methodologies

CVA has a toolbox of methodologies that are used as a framework to solve our clients difficult problems. They are not a "black-box" or pro-forma that will produce a "me-too" strategy, but rather a systematic approach that provides a structure from which creativity and new ideas can thrive. Many of our methodologies have been used across numerous industries and countries as the central tenets of framing the problem and working towards a solution are common across borders and industry boundaries.

Joint Team Approach

CVA prefers to work in a joint team approach, i.e. consultants and client staff working in collaboration on all aspects of the project. Experience shows this is the most productive environment to nurture and grow people in the client organisation and ensure that a full knowledge transfer occurs.
